What do I do if I lose my apartment key or am locked out of my apartment?

There is a service fee for Hunziker Property Manager’s to open locked doors. The charge for the replacement of any apartment key is $10. Replacement for the pool key is $25.00. Additional fees also apply for lock changes. Contact our office for more information on lock changes and service fees.

Renters Insurance

Is renters insurance required?

Yes, all tenants need to have renters insurance. This will protect your personal belongings that are damaged from a fire, storm or items that are stolen from your home. Renters insurance policies vary so be sure you’re aware of what your policy covers. You’ll need to provide us with a copy of the declaration page of your renters insurance policy when you move in.Tenant with pets are required to have renters insurance with a minimum liability coverage of $300,000.

Pets

Do you allow pets?

Pets are only allowed in units if they are pre-approved and only at select locations. If approved, a double deposit is required and additional $20/mo in rent. Assistance animals categorized as either service animals or companion animals are not considered pets under the Fair Housing Act and will not be subjected to pet fees or deposits. Pet-sitting is prohibited.

Am I allowed to pet-sit?

No. Tenants should not pet-sit animals in their unit.

Parking

Will I have an assigned parking spot?

Yes, most of the communities have assigned parking spaces. All cars that are not in their assigned parking space are subject to be towed at the owner’s expense.
